The benefits of animal protein.

Each of you needs a varied diet to get all the vitamins and minerals you need. The diet should contain vegetables, fruits, grains, and meat. Modern fashion trends in nutrition claim that meat is a harmful product that is contrary to human nature and morality.

The structure of the human body says the opposite. The intestines and the entire digestive system indicate that a person should eat products of animal origin.

All types of substances (proteins, fats, organic acids, carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals) must enter the body in sufficient quantities and be absorbed by your body. Sources of animal protein include meat, eggs, fish, and dairy products. Vegetarians and vegans are ditching this type of protein and trying to get it from legumes, nuts, and some vegetables.

Scientists cannot say unequivocally about the correctness of the theory of rejection of animal protein. Although, many studies show that excessive consumption of animal products negatively affects the functioning of your body.

Also, many doctors believe that avoiding animal protein is causing irreparable harm to your health.

Scientists claim that only half of the plant protein is absorbed. If you only eat plant-based protein, you are not getting the nutrients you need. Thus, you can provoke a deficiency in your body of such important substances like amino acids, iron, zinc, calcium, vitamins D and B12, polyunsaturated omega-3 fatty acids, and dietary fiber.

Plant protein cannot provide you with these substances and this leads to disruption of the work of some systems of your body and a decrease in immunity. You also need iron to keep you healthy. The elimination of animal products leads to anemia and chronic fatigue.
Plant-based foods cannot provide you with healthy omega-3 fatty acids. It plays a key role in a healthy heart and vascular function, brain development, and rapid metabolism.

According to doctors, protein deficiency in old age is especially dangerous. This is because, with age, the amount of its protein in the body is depleted, which leads to muscle weakness and, as a result, weak bones. Therefore, protein foods are essential to prevent falls and fractures.

Despite the benefits of animal protein, you shouldn’t consume it overwhelmingly. You should stick to your protein intake and get it from a variety of sources, including plant and animal foods.
