Even a child knows that proper sleep is the basis of a healthy lifestyle. But, many of you ignore this rule and experience chronic sleep deprivation. The optimal amount of sleep for an adult should be 7 to 8 hours. However, children should sleep between 11 and 14 hours. Getting enough sleep will help you feel energized and refreshed. Prolonged sleep deprivation leads to both physical and emotional problems. You may notice that after a lack of sleep, your mood worsens, you feel irritated, you cannot remember any information, and so on.
Also, doctors believe that women need longer sleep than men. It is due to the hormonal characteristics of the female body. Also, women get more negative effects from not getting enough sleep. It leads to a disruption in the production of hormones responsible for feelings of fullness, and weight gain occurs even if you eat a healthy diet.
Chronic lack of sleep leads to fatigue. As a rule, this condition is characterized by irritation, decreased concentration, memory impairment and affects performance.
A person who is in this condition can cause work-related injuries or accidents.
