The process of losing weight is very complex and depends on many factors such as the choice of products, the number of calories, physical activity. According to a new study, the process of losing weight is also influenced by at what time you eat. The results of these studies were published in magazine Obesity. As it turned out during the day, our body works in different ways. The main object of the study was the effect of breakfast on the process of losing weight. Scientists have found that eating times can affect appetite, suppressing it, and on the process of burning fat and metabolic rate.

11 people were involved in the study. They were divided into two groups. Both groups had breakfast, lunch, dinner. But the first group had breakfast early in the morning and distributed three meals from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The second one had no time limits and had the first meal closer to lunch. Studies that lasted four days showed an amazing result.

It is worth noting that the caloric intake of both groups was the same. Both groups ate three times a day and slept the same amount of time.

At the end of the study, it was found that the participants of the first group, who had a time frame for eating, did not experience severe hunger during the period when they did not eat anything. Their feeling of hunger has decreased significantly.

In addition, members of this group consumed significantly more energy than members of the other group.

Based on the results of the study, scientists proved that interval food and the fasting window lead to weight loss, while people do not experience a strong feeling of starvation during waking hours. Such interval nutrition leads to an increase in energy expenditure and a decrease in appetite.

The data obtained during the study are useful for developing weight loss programs for obese people. But, scientists argue that for 100% conviction in the results, several additional studies are needed.

If we take into account the results of other studies, we can say that we should eat according to our circadian rhythm.

Whatever regime you choose, you must remember that nighttime snacks are an evil that harms your health. In 2013, scientists proved that the love of food at night leads not only to weight gain but also to a disruption of metabolic processes.

In 2018, the same scientists proved that intermittent nutrition normalizes blood pressure and reduces appetite.

Based on the results of various studies, we can say that the main thing is to maintain a balance in everything. You must understand that not only the number of calories affects your health and weight. Equally important is the time at which you consume these calories.
